A new effort to resume the search for the body of a Carmel student was announced Wednesday.

Friends of Andrew Compton launched a new Facebook page to re-start the search for his body in a landfill.

Back in October, Compton disappeared after a night out with a 40-year-old man who he met online. That man, Gregory O’Bryan, has admitted to police that Compton died during sex. O’Bryan said he put Compton’s body in a dumpster.

Louisville police spent days searching a landfill, but never found the body.
