Police in Anderson arrested a homeless man in connection with a stabbing in which the suspect called 911 to report the crime.

Officers arrived in the 2100 block of Pearl Street Wednesday night to find Timothy Haney covered in blood. The 58-year-old man told investigators he’d stabbed someone.

Inside the home, police found the victim, who had been stabbed multiple times. He said Haney was responsible and went to a hospital for treatment. According to investigators, the two men had argued prior to the stabbing.
