A judge has ruled that the Start Board of Education must give money back to Indianapolis Public Schools.

The $7.5 million was given to the operators of four schools that were taken over from IPS. The district said the money was given on the wrong enrollment numbers.

The state board of education has 30 days to appeal the decision.
