We haven’t seen a potential winter storm like this in some time.

The last time Indianapolis saw a winter storm warning issued for the area was January 31st 2011.  That’s nearly two years ago.

Right now it looks like most of Central Indiana will see 4 – 8” of snow.  Higher totals will be possible.

It looks like the hardest hit areas will be south and east of Indianapolis between Louisville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

A Winter Storm Watch has already been issued for most of the state with more surely to come today.  These will turn over to Winter Storm Warnings 24 hours before the event is expected to begin.

Here’s a timeline of what you can expect on Wednesday.
