Football season is over but that doesn’t mean we won’t see more sporting events at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis is bidding to  host the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.

According to our partners at the Indianapolis Business Journal, the event would be held at the stadium. If the city wins, it would mark the first time the trials would be held inside a stadium.

Officials said the event would bring more than 80,000 visitors to Indy, generating around $30 million.
