INDIANAPOLIS – A report out on Monday night indicates that Bruce Arians may be a little closer to a head coaching offer.

The Chicago Sun Times reports that the Colts’ offensive coordinator is a finalist for the head coaching position with the Chicago Bears. Football writer Sean Jensen reported the news on Twitter after 9 P.M. on Monday evening.

Arians interviewed with the Bears on Sunday and is also considered a candidate for the Chargers and Eagles’ head coaching positions.

A longtime NFL assistant, Arians has received a number of looks for head coaching jobs after leading the Colts to a 9-3 record in the interim as Chuck Pagano received treatments for Leukemia. Arians has been in Indianapolis for just one season, having been hired by Pagano after being let go by the Steelers.

DONT GO BRUCE! YOU KNOW OUR TEAM WILL BE BETTER NEXT YEAR THAN ANY TEAM WITH A CURRENT HEAD COACH OPENING! WE HAVE MUCH MUCH MORE POTENTIAL THAN ANY TEAM OUT THERE! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO STAY!

I think Luck should make the decision on when to run the ball. He's made pretty decent decisions on when to take off so far. We dont want him to end up like RG3 with LCL and ACL injuries that could possibly affect the rest of his career, which might not last more than 5-7 years if he continues running and getting hurt.
