Marion County Health Department offers free flu shot clinics

PRESS RELEASE — The Marion County Public Health Department will offer a free flu shot clinic on Friday, Jan. 18 from 1-5 p.m. at the health department’s training building at 4012 N. Rural St.

The free clinic will be open to anyone who wants to receive a flu shot. Children ages 18 and under must be with a parent or guardian in order to receive a shot.

In addition to this special clinic, free flu shots will also be available on Jan. 18 only at the district health offices during the hours listed for each location:

Northwest District Health Office – 6940 N. Michigan Rd.
Noon – 4 p.m.
(Walk-ins only)

Northeast District Health Office – 6042 E. 21st St.
8 a.m. – Noon
(Walk-ins only)

South District Health Office – 505 E. National Ave.
8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
(Walk-In/Appointments Available)

Meadows Office – 3901 Meadows Dr.
Closed on 1/18 – Staff will be at the 4012 N. Rural St. clinic

Georgetown Office – 3972 Georgetown Rd.
8 a.m. – Noon
