A leading voice against gun and gang violence in Indianapolis will take his message to Washington, D.C., next week.
Rev. Charles Harrison of the Ten Point Coalition will attend a conference of community and anti-violence leaders from across the country in Washington.
While there, Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to meet with the group as he spearheads President Obama’s new gun legislation.
Harrison tells Fox59 that he’s looking for federal funding to support programs in Indianapolis designed to curb youth and gang violence and halt firearms violence.
