Zak Irvin went 4-9 (44%) from three point range and scored 30 points to lead the Hamilton Southeastern past the Arsenal Tech Titans 64-59 Saturday night.
The Titans, led by Trey Lyles, who recorded a double-double (25 points 16 rebounds) did not make things easy. Midway through the 4th quarter, Tech would cut the lead to one with a Trey Lyles put back slam shifting the momentum on the Titans side.
However in the end, the Royals would get it done from the free throw line shooting 85% percent from the stripe and would improve their record to 14-1 on the season while the Titans fell to 15-3.
The Royals will once again have their hands full again next Saturday. They will be heading up to Lawrence North High School to take on Coach Jack Keefer and the Wildcats who ran past Center Grove tonight 49-36.
