INDIANAPOLIS – One of the most visible couples in IndyCar Racing have decided to split up.
On Tuesday night, Ashley Judd released a statement to People Magazine saying that she and her husband Dario Franchitti have ended their marriage.
“We have mutually decided to end our marriage,” said Judd in the statement to People Magazine, which was posted on their website after 8 P.M. on Tuesday. “We’ll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed.”
The couple has been married since 2001 and were seen often together during Franchitti’s three Indianapolis 500 victories, including this past May.
