A New Castle man is accused of transporting two girls across state lines and then molesting them.
Marvin Geraci, 67, faces charges of transporting minors in interstate commerce with the intent to engage in sexual activity.
Officials said Geraci took the now 12 and 13-year-old girls on “vacations” to New Orleans and Daytona Beach where he then molested them. The vacations took place over a two-year period, police said.
If Geraci is found guilty, he faces life in prison and significant fines.
The charges were filed as a part of Project Safe Childhood. The nationwide initiative works to combat child sexual exploitation. The office conviction rate for Project Safe Childhood cases was 100 percent last year.
