CRAWFORD CO., IND. — Fire officials in Crawford County believe a wood stove is to blame for a fire that killed five people Thursday morning.

The fire started after midnight in a mobile home located near English, Ind.

According to Fox affiliate WDRB spoke to Crawford County Sheriff Tim Wilkerson. He said three adults and two children died in the fire.

Wilkerson said the adults included two half-brothers and a girlfriend of one of the men. The children were the eight-year-old daughter of one of the brother and the women’s three-year-old son.

Fire officials believe the fire started in a wood stove being used to heat the mobile home.
