Fishers, Ind. is deemed one of the safest cities in America.

According to NeighborhoodScout.com, a data company that specializes in location analysis, Fishers ranked at no. 19 in the their annual list of the “Top 100 Safest Cities in the U.S.”

“We are excited and honored to once again be named one of the safest cities in America,” said Fishers Police Chief George Kehl. “This award is a direct reflection of the active partnership between the dedicated men and women of the Fishers Police Department and the residents they serve.”

The safest cities were calculated based on locations with a population of 25,000 or more and based on the total number of crimes per 1,000 residents.  Crimes included burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, murder, forcible rape, armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Carmel must be pizzed right about now.

Brainerd is going to see people into Fishers to launch random acts of crime just to skew the count.

It is because they have the proper number of police officers. Indianapolis would be safe if Ballard did not lie. He says Public Safety is job #1 so watch him leave this week and turn his back on the two fallen heroes. Yep that's right he has to go on his Overseas all Expense Vacation with his wife and grafter buddies.
