Carmel High School is looking to get their graduating class into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Seventeen sets of twins are currently in the graduating class this year.

The students posed for a picture last week as the first step in the bid to get into the record book.

Among the records they are going for are most twins in a single class and tying the mark for most multiple birth sets in the same academic year.

Right now, Guinness says the most sets of twins in the same academic year at one school is 16 pairs, shared by three schools in Iowa, Connecticut and Illinois.
