
PENDLETON, IND. — State Police worked many crashes overnight as ice-covered area highways.
According to troopers at the Pendleton District, units along I-69 reported slick spots along the interstate particularly on bridges, overpasses and ramps. Between exits 219 and 222 the northbound lanes had iced over.
I-70 was wet with icy spots as a freezing mist continued to fall with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark.
State highways are wet with scattered slick spots. County roads are ice-covered and slick.
Motorists should continue to use caution throughout the morning.
