Purdue’s trip to Iowa turned out to be a rough one for the Boilermakers (13-15, 6-9), as Purdue lost Wednesday night 58-48 in a game they never led.

Leading the way for Purdue was Hale with 13 points, who had beaten Iowa last month at Mackey Arena in overtime. A different result on Wednesday night.

The Hawkeyes were carried by the offense of Devyn Marble, who scored 18 points for an Iowa team that’s smallest lead in the second half dropped to six points, but was good enough to hold on to Purdue’s sixth loss in eight games.

The Boilermakers next play on Sunday afternoon when they visit #17-ranked Wisconsin at the Kohl Center.
