Two juveniles arrested following series of overnight fires

INDIANAPOLIS – Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a series of overnight fires on the east side of Indianapolis. The boys face arson charges.

Those fires included an overnight garage fire on North Linwood Avenue and a fire at a vacant home in the 1300 block of North Olney Street.

The juveniles may also be connected to a third fire in the 1400 block of North Olney.

The fire in the 1300 block of North Olney broke out around 1:30 a.m., causing about $25,000 in damage, according to the Indianapolis Fire Department. The fire in the 1400 block caused about $35,000 in damage. It started around 6 a.m.
