Darla… Black males have proven themselves to be VERY violent in the last FEW decades…. You can not deny that. Now before you start with your superstitions about white people let me remind you this is a story about murder.

Versus more than 500 in Chicago?

Blacks represent about 12% of the national population yet kill more often than all other races combined, including the case you mentioned.

Dumb asses. That shit is why I moved out of Indy and to the country. I'd rather deal with red-necks than with dumb asses with guns. I don't care if your black or white, if you need to gun to get what you want rather than get off your lazy ass and get a job, then you're a dumb ass piece of shit and so are your parent for raising you the way they did. Why is it when these kids die, all you hear is how wonderful they were, they were fucking saints according to everyone, tell the fucking truth about their gang banging asses, they are hoodrats and their death is the result of their stupidity. Just once I would love to see an honest response to the death of one of these pieces of shit.

In God eyes we all are sister and brother so cut the races thing out.Someone lost a child we need to be praying for that family. Open up the bible in start read it an it will let you know our days are short. What we need to do is get right with Jesus in save our soul hell isn't the place to go. Violent isn't the answer. If we have a problem with someone can we sit down an talk about in stead of pick up an gun that is no the answer to the problem. We need to think about what we doing it not right to take someone life. My God blessed everyone an quit talking down on one another. What would Jesus do ?

this victim was my friend. he was the nicest guy you'd ever know. soft spoken with a big heart. he not only was a friend he was a father, a son, a brother. so before you start posting bullshit how about showing respect for his family n children. they will never be able to pick up the phone and hear him on the other end again. no more birthdays or holidays with this young man. he worked very hard at what he'd grown up to be. and he deserves much respect ……what if it were you? would u want someone trash talkn u on the internet? grow the fuck up

OutI would just like to say that this young man Michael was like a son to me. I know his mom and two brothers. He was a very nice respectable young man and never bothered anyone. He did not have anything to do with any drug deals nor gangs. I lived right across the hall from them for two years and in those two years I must say he was always very polite and quiet. Also he was very helpful. Please remember people that when you are commenting make sure you have all the facts. White or black!!! Regardless he is one of my children I call respectful, and his mother is a very sweet woman, his brothers are polite too, and his baby is a sweetheart. So in other words “WATCH YOUR MOUTH

Cyndy – thanks for speaking up for my nephew. He was one of the good ones – NEVER in any trouble, well mannered and hard working. Unfortunately, the wrong guy was killed in this shooting. But, he is now in a better place and maybe the rest of the family – those that are not living right at all and are the cause of this shooting – will FINALLY wake up and get their lives together and do the right thing. It's sad but true – only the GOOD die young. Mikey tried his best to get his siblings to change and now he has paid the price. so sad.

@ Michael’s Auntie… You are so welcome. I am very sorry for your loss and yes the wrong one had to suffer this tragedy. I feel so angry about all this mess because Michael did NOT DESERVE THIS!! He was a good young man. If you can please email me funeral arrangements so me and my children can come. My son looked at him as a brother and is very hurt by all this mess. Thank you again and my deepest sincere prayers ate with you and the family. I pray that my other Godson WAKES UP to reality and change NOW!!

@John ….It's pisses me off that people make ignorant comments about people and situations they know nothing about. I knew Michael and your comments are out of order and few from the truth. The truth is it's rednecks that think like you that keep hatred going. Bet if someone comes out in the country and shoot your redneck ass or some of your relatives you wouldn't appreciate being labeled because of the skin your in. Go to hell.
