Lanes of I-70 blocked in Henry County due to crash

HENRY COUNTY, IND. — Police closed eastbound lanes of I-70 in Henry County following a multi-vehicle accident.

Crews responded to an area east of Exit 123 / State Road 3 following reports of a crash with injury around 5:30 a.m.

Due to a secondary crash near Exit 115 / State Road 109, crews blocked eastbound traffic at Exit 115.

According to INDOT, the eastbound lanes could be closed until 7 a.m. Tuesday as crews clear the crash scene, however an exact time for reopening is not known.

Traffic is encouraged to detour the crash scene by exiting south on State Road 109 to US 40, US 40 east to Wilbur Wright Road, and Wilbur Wright Road north to I-70.
