Spotlight 2013 raises funds for HIV/Aids patients

One in every 625 Hoosiers is living with HIV/AIDS. Since December, there has been one new case reported every day.

This is why the Indianapolis performing arts community comes together every year for Spotlight: Seeing Red. This fundraiser, and the attention it brings to HIV, continues to be crucial to stopping the further spread of the disease. S

potlight 2013 is on Monday, April 22. It is the largest HIV fundraising event of its kind in the Midwest, raising more than $400,000 annually for HIV testing and prevention programs across Indiana.

This year’s event features 24 performing arts organizations, including three new acts – Indianapolis City Ballet, Know No Stranger and the Indianapolis production of Monty Python’s Spamalot. You can get more information about the event here.
