A new drug from Eli Lilly to treat Type-2 Diabetes is one step closer to hitting the market.
The drug maker said the Dulaglutide met its goals in a pair of late-phase studies.
The drug is a once-a-week injection that lowers blood glucose. Right now, some people with Type 2 Diabetes face multiple injections a day.
The new drug has been under development for more than six years.
Lilly expects to submit it to regulatory authorities later this year.
