Four arrested following meth lab bust in New Castle

NEW CASTLE – Police arrested four people early Wednesday morning after busting a meth lab in New Castle.

Investigators served a search warrant around 2 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of North 18th Street.

Jeffrey Neal, 54, Candace Hiler, 59, Rusty Campton, 39, and Atysha Berryhill, 25, were all arrested. All were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors and possession of hypodermic needles.

In addition, Neal and Campton were charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Hiler and Berryhill were also charged with illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste.
