INDIANAPOLIS – It wasn’t quite the “Tasty” encounter a Carmel man hoped for.

The 36-year-old man hoped to meet “Tasty”—a woman he’d met on Craigslist—for sex. Instead, he ended up getting robbed at knifepoint.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the man arranged for a Saturday night rendezvous at an apartment located in the 4600 block of Round Lake Road. He’d met the woman on Craiglist’s “Casual Encounters” section, according to the report.

When he arrived at the apartment, a masked man with a knife confronted him, telling him to “give him everything.” The man handed over his keys, condoms, cell phone and $125 in cash. The man didn’t see where his attacker went, and ran to a liquor store on 46th Street to report the robbery.

Officers arrived shortly after that. A search of the area around the apartment turned up the man’s keys and condoms. Police returned the items. According to the report, no one lived in the apartment where the man had agreed to meet “Tasty.”
