A pair of Central Indiana businesses is busted after a prostitution sting in Hamilton and Boone County.

Police raided two massage parlors – Dove Spa located at 715 S. Rangeline Rd. in Carmel and Beijing Spa at 12121 N. Michigan Rd. in Zionsville – Wednesday.

Six people were arrested after a nearly year-long investigation. Lu Wang, 50, of Fishers, and Jinna Luan, 52, or Carmel, have been charged with promoting prostitution. Four other women – Hui Xiao, Min Yu, Toby Hou and Aiqin Yu – have been charged with prostitution. Police are still trying to locate Yajie Liu, 55, of Carmel, who is also facing prostitution charges.

Police said there are as many as a dozen clients. On average, they’ve observed nearly 20 men in a four-hour period. Investigators found more than $250,000 of illegal money in multiple locations.

“This is one of the first times we were actually able to go all the way up to the top and tie-in who was responsible and who was orchestrating this business,” said Major Aaron Dietz from the Hamilton & Boone County Drug Task Force.

According to court documents, undercover officers, “only observed males going in the business.” After getting a massage, “the female fondled the undercover officer’s genitals.”

Multiple advertisements were also posted on websites like Backpage.com under the adult entertainment and personal sections. One customer wrote, “Very friendly, great staff. I also got more than I expected in the foot massage.”

AC & Company Hair Salon, which is right next door to Dove Spa, said they’ve seen suspicious things happen next door. They’ve even heard from their own clients, who went into Dove Spa for a massage and experienced something else.

“They’ve had their pants taken off or their boxers taken off.  They’ve also been taken to the shower to be sponge-bathed and things like that,” said Tara Thomas, who works at the salon. “We’ve just been waiting for this day to come. I’ve seen men go out of there every single day.”
