Missing Lawrence man located in Detroit

UPDATE (4:30 p.m.)- Lawrence police said Lewis has been located and is safe.  Authorities said he was found in Detroit.  It is unclear how he ended up in the city, because Lewis could not remember how he got there.

ORIGINAL POST (4:30 a.m.)- LAWRENCE, IND. — The Lawrence Police Department are investigating the disappearance of an elderly man from their city.

Clayborne Lewis, 85, was last seen between 5 and 5:30 p.m. near the Village Pantry at 5190 N. Franklin Road, Indianapolis.

Lewis is described as 5′ 11″ tall, 170lbs, black hair, brown eyes wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a hat, a black and white sweater, maroon pants and white suspenders.

He is believed to be in danger.

Lewis does not see or hear well and may be disoriented and require medical attention.

He is believed to be traveling on foot.
