HAMILTON COUNTY, IND. — State Road 38 is back open following a fatal crash near Sheridan.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on State Road 38 near Six Points Road shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday morning.

According to initial crash reports, Dennis Eugene Scott, 45 of Anderson, was driving west on State Road 38 when his truck crossed the center line, leaving the left side of the roadway.

Deputies said the truck rolled several times, ejecting Scott before landing upright.
