Search underway for Broad Ripple bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are searching for a man in connection with a bank robbery in Broad Ripple Tuesday morning.

Officers arrived to the Huntington Bank at 724 Broad Ripple Avenue at approximately 9:20 a.m. on a report of a robbery.  When they arrived to the scene, the suspect had already fled the scene.

The suspect was described to be a black male, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.  He was last seen running in the direction of the U.S. Postal Office, located at 6255 Carrollton Ave.
