Police search for men accused of placing skimming device on ATM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection with placing a skimming device on an automated teller machine (ATM).

Police said the two men installed the device on an ATM at the Fifth/Third Bank, located at 6071 E. 82nd St., in order to gain access to debit and credit card information.

The device was removed after it was discovered by bank security.

One male suspect was wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses and a fake mustache.  The other male suspect was described to be wearing a dark colored baseball hat and a dark jacket over a white t-shirt.
