Suspects sought in two separate bank robberies across city

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are searching for suspects in two separate bank robberies that occurred on opposite sides of the city Tuesday morning.

Police said an armed man wearing a ski mask robbed the PNC Bank at 7007 Graham Road, located on the city’s northeast side.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Officers later responded to a bank robbery at Key Bank inside the Kroger in the Southern Plaza Shopping Center.  Police said the suspect was described to be male or female between 5-feet-5-inches and 5-feet-7-inches tall.  The suspect wore their hair in a braided ponytail, had sunglasses on and had a Band-Aid over their left eye.  The suspect was also seen wearing a red sweatshirt with white “Indiana” letters.
