Investigation underway after animals abandoned in Hamilton Co.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.–  Authorities are searching for those responsible for abandoning animals found in Hamilton County Thursday.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said a mother cat and her four kittens were found in a blue plastic storage tub.  Officials also found a black and white dog with an injured front leg tied to a lamp pole.

The animals were found behind the Humane Society for Hamilton County, located at 1721 Pleasant Street.
