Excise arrests 46 minors, ten under 18-years-old, at McGraw concert

NOBLESVILLE, IND. — Indiana State Excise Police arrested 52 people on 54 charges during the Tim McGraw concert at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville Thursday.

According to a press release, of the 52 arrested, 46 were minors with ten being under 18-years-old. The minors face charges of illegal possession or consumption of alcohol.

Officers arrested five others for furnishing alcohol to a minor. One person was arrested for possession of marijuana, another for possession of a false ID, and one for public intoxication.

“The Indiana State Excise Police will be a presence at Klipsch Music Center throughout its scheduled events,” Superintendent Matt Strittmatter said in the press release.  “Working in cooperation with the management and employees of Klipsch Music Center, we will continue to promote a safe environment for those attending the music venue through the enforcement of Indiana laws.”
