INDIANAPOLIS – It sounds like you’ll be hearing about cricket in Indianapolis for years to come.

The U.S. Cricket Association announced that Indianapolis will host the 2014, 2015 and 2016 U.S. National Men’s Cricket Championships.

The four-day event will feature eight regional teams competing for the title and a chance to earn a spot on the U.S. national team. It will be played at the Indianapolis World Sports Park on the east side.

Next year’s tournament will mark the first event held at the facility.
