A group of patriots came together for a good cause and a good time. The graduating class of 1979 from John Marshall High School hosted the first Patriot Fest on the East side.

Their mascot is The Patriot, and they’ve thrown many reunions and parties over the years. This year’s event would benefit the Wounded Warriors Project. The say they started Patriot Fest to let wounded soldiers coming home know they’re taken care of and to make sure they live full lives.

The former classmates have also started their own organization, Patriots for Patriots. They hope to host this event every year from now on.
