INDIANAPOLIS – A Noblesville man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison and will have to register as a sex offender after he hid a camera in a children’s bathroom.

Justin Allen Briggs, 28, was sentenced Thursday after admitting to sexual exploitation of a minor.

In court Thursday, Briggs said his actions were inexcusable and apologized for violating a teenage victim’s privacy.

In January, Briggs’ wife came across four videos and 75 pictures that Briggs took with the hidden camera. She turned him in, taking the computer to Noblesville police for evidence. The two later divorced.

Briggs was fined $2,000 and will be under supervised release for 10 years after he gets out. His computer activity will also be monitored.
