Man sought following robbery at west side Check ‘n Go

Police are trying to identify a man who attacked a worker at a west side business during a weekend robbery.

Around 9 a.m. Saturday, the worker was opening the Check n’ Go at 3350 High School Rd. when his attacker hit him on the right said of his head with a handgun. The man then forced the worker to open the store’s safe and hand over some cash. He then told the victim to lie face down on the floor while he ran off.

The man is described as 5’9″ and between 170 and 180 pounds. He wore a camouflage Colts hat, red and plaid flannel shirt, blue jeans and gray tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about his identity should call a detective at 327-3733.
