A program to keep students from going hungry during the summer break is thriving.

Sodexho’s Feeding Our Future Program is bridging the gap between school years and giving about 200 Central Indiana kids better nutrition.

Thursday, students in that program had some fun at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

Providing a healthy meal helps kids learn more and not be sidetracked by hunger.

“It’s important for us so that we make sure we impact the community that children have access to healthy foods,” said Lynn Allison.

The program provides meals from June 10 through Aug. 17.
