Firefighters had a busy morning battling a house fire. Crews were called to the 3500 block of Janet Drive around 7:20 a.m after a neighbor called 911.

When they arrived, heavy fire was pouring from several areas of the home. Even though they faced extreme heat conditions, firefighters were able to prevent any fire damage to neighboring homes. Damage to the house is estimated to be around $90,000.

Nobody was in the home at the time of the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
