INDIANAPOLIS – If Jim Irsay’s Twitter account says anything, it’s that every game matters. Even if it really doesn’t.

On Monday afternoon the Colts owner took to his social media account to talk about the Colts 44-20 loss to the Bills Sunday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium in their preseason opener.

“Many starters played briefly or were nursing little injuries, but it was a crap performance,my apologies/My commanders got n earful from me!,” said Irsay on his account.

The contest featured little play from the team’s starters including quarterback Andrew Luck, who played just two series. A number of regulars were also held out of the lineup for precautionary reasons.

After having Monday off, the team resumes training camp at Anderson University on Tuesday.
