RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind.—The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department said the issues they were experiencing with incoming land line calls, specifically to their 911 system, have been corrected.

For several hours, 911 calls placed on land lines were not being connected to dispatchers. Authorities said the issue appeared to be with equipment in the Richmond, Ind. area, which controls Randolph County’s land line capabilities.

The issue was fixed around 1:14 p.m.
