Shooting, armed robbery at bus stop near 26th and MLK

INDIANAPOLIS, Ins. – Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s west side.

The shooting occurred just after 10:30pm at a bust stop near near 26th and MLK.

19-year-old male was waiting at the bus stop when two black males shot him in the lower leg and stole his backpack.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital in good condition.

IMPD officers arrived quickly and set-up a perimeter.

Two male juveniles are currently in custody as persons of interest.
