So many times during the Colts run to the 2012 NFL Playoffs, they proved doubters wrong.  While there are more expectations on the team during Andrew Luck’s second season, the Colts were once again in “us against the world” mode Sunday in San Francisco.

The Colts thrived in that setting once again Sunday dominating the reigning NFC Champions 27-7 at Candlestick Park.

New running back Trent Richardson scored a touchdown on his first carry with the team during the opening drive of the game.  Andrew Luck led the Colts on an 11-play 80-yard fourth quarter drive that ended with a Luck touchdown run from six-yards out to give the Colts a 20-7 lead.

The Colts forced a 49ers fumble on the ensuing possession, and Ahmad Bradshaw tacked on an insurance touchdown resulting in the final score.

Fox 59 Sports Director Chris Hagan is in San Francisco and will have post-game coverage on Fox59 News at Ten and Fox59 Sports Overtime.
