Plainfield Police have been involved in a shooting following a home invasion robbery. At least one suspect is dead.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Andrews Boulevard Tuesday evening. That’s inside the Courtyards at White Lick neighborhood.

When they arrived, they said they found an armed suspect in the house.

Police said he did something to cause police to fear for their safety so they shot him. The suspect died at the scene.

A second suspect was found inside the house and was apprehended without incident.
