The family of a man killed at an Indianapolis ConAgra Foods distribution center is suing the security company at the facility.

Anthony Hicks Sr. was fatally shot by a coworker last November.

His family claims G4S Secure Solutions Inc., the company that provided security at the facility, allowed the suspect to bring a gun onto the premises, endangering Hicks Sr.

G4S released the following statement Tuesday:

“G4S Secure Solutions (USA) has learned that litigation has been filed related to a November 16, 2012 incident. G4S extends its sympathy to the family and friends of the persons affected by this tragic event. G4S cannot comment further while litigation is pending.”

Hicks Sr. worked at the ConAgra center for nine years.

His family is seeking an unspecified amount of money.
