Timeline of funeral service, procession for IMPD’s Officer Bradway

6 A.M.- Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to escort Officer Rod Bradway’s casket to Bankers Life Fieldhouse

9 A.M.- Doors open to public at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

9 A.M.-10 A.M.- Public to be seated for service

11 A.M.- Funeral service to begin (duration of service unknown at this time)

Procession (following the funeral):

Members of the public wanting to take place in the funeral procession should proceed to South and Pennsylvania. They will be directed to the parking lot at the south east corner (known as Colts Tailgate lot) and will be placed in the funeral procession.

Those who do not want to participate in the procession are encouraged to line up anywhere along the procession route in support of the fallen officer.

The procession will make one stop at the IMPD Northwest District Headquarters at 3821 Industrial Boulevard.

Once the procession begins, it will not stop. The public is asked to allow extra time to travel around the funeral procession. Additionally, if you do not participate in the procession, you will not be allowed in the cemetery.


The burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
