INDIANAPOLIS – Two vehicles were involved in a Monday morning crash that initially came in as a call of “pedestrians struck.”
It happened Monday morning near Ohio Street and College Avenue. Several ambulances were on the scene. Initial reports said three or four people were hit by a van.
During the course of the investigation, it became clear that the accident involved a white van and that a person had been ejected from the vehicle. Investigators initially believed that person was a pedestrian. Another vehicle–a black car–was also involved. Several people were taken to hospitals as a precaution, including two children. The injuries didn’t appear to be life-threatening, investigators said.
