A security subcontractor is being sued for reportedly paying officers less than minimum wage.

CG Security Services, Inc., provides security for the Hyatt Regency.

It faces allegations of not paying employees, forcing them to work off the clock and refusing to give them breaks.

The suit seeks hundreds of thousands of dollars in back pay for dozens of officers over the past three years.

“Fast food employees and other service employees are standing up and demanding minimum wage of up to $15 an hour and here we have Hyatt workers coming forward today, claiming they aren’t even paid the current minimum wage of $7.25. That’s just outrageous,” said Mike Biskar, Lead Organizer for Unite Here Indianapolis.

Hyatt had no comment on the lawsuit.
