A new $100 bill is now in circulation and it has a lot of new features to make it harder to counterfeit.

The new Benjamin has a blue ribbon that is actually a 3D strip that changes when you move it.

The Federal Reserve spent more than a decade coming up with the changes.

The new bill has more security features because of its popularity in other countries. An estimated 65 percent of the American $100 bills in existence are held outside the United States.
