East side shooting victim in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A person shot on the city’s east side Tuesday evening is in critical condition.

Police responded to reports of a person shot around 10:45 p.m. in the 3200 block of N. Arsenal Ave.

When officers arrived they found a male lying in an alley east of N. Arsenal suffering from at least one gunshot wound and in critical condition.

The victim was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Detectives are not releasing the victim’s name in deference to the family.

This is an active investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to call IMPD homicide at 317-327-3475.
