A Brownsburg man was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation after being involved in an hours-long standoff with Noblesville police.

Officers responded to a home on Harrison Street just before 5AM after reports of gun shots. When they arrived, they attempted to contact the person inside the home who witnesses say was the shooter, but he did not respond. The Noblesville/Westfield Police Departments’ Emergency Services and Crisis Negotiation Units were called in to assist and try to make contact with the suspect.

The suspect finally agreed to surrender to authorities shortly before 9AM. 33-year-old Levi T. Harrison was taken to Riverview Hospital for a medical checkout. It is still unclear if he’ll be charged with anything.
