Days leading up to Halloween aren’t going to be too scary

The days leading up to this year’s Halloween overall won’t be too bad.  I think we have a couple of days with temperatures above the seasonal average high of low 60s.  As we get closer to the spookiest day of the year the weather will also turn a little spooky.  Storms could be possible late on Halloween night into Friday morning as we return to a cooler pattern.

For today expect to start the day off with sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s.  We will see some clouds as a weak cold front slides through dry later tonight.  Sunday will be cooler but mostly clear with highs in the mid to low 50s.

Monday will be clear and warmer with highs in the upper 50s to some places hitting 60 degrees.  There will be a late chance for rain on Tuesday but the rest of the day should be pleasant enough with some clouds around.  Tuesday highs will be near 60 degrees. Rain should wrap up on Wednesday morning but some models are now showing the rain arriving slightly later on Tuesday and sticking around through the day on Wednesday.  If there will be a rain out this week Wednesday will be the day.

Halloween day will be warm with highs approaching 70!  There will be a chance for storms but the chance looks to be a little less extreme this morning than past mornings.  Enjoy the holiday, get lots of candy, and please be careful.
